Introduction
The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) at Govt. College for Women, M.A. Road, Srinagar, is constituted in accordance with the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013. The ICC is dedicated to ensuring a safe, secure, and inclusive environment for all students, faculty, and staff within the college campus.
The committee is entrusted with the responsibility of receiving, examining, and resolving complaints related to harassment, discrimination, and any other forms of misconduct. The ICC functions with the highest degree of confidentiality and impartiality, ensuring that complainants are protected from retaliation or victimization.
In addition to addressing grievances, the ICC actively engages in preventive measures by raising awareness about rights, responsibilities, and legal frameworks. It organizes workshops, seminars, and campaigns to promote gender sensitization, equality, and respect within the campus community.
All stakeholders are encouraged to approach the committee for guidance, support, and redressal of any issues impacting their well-being.
